This legislation was enforced on 20th December 2018 to regulate the emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOX), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and dust into the air frommedium combustion plants (individual combustion plants with a rated thermal input ≥ 1MW but less than 50MW). Registration/permission is required from the relevant authority before the plant can be put to service. This affects our Melbury boilers from 895kW and above, and our Upton UF1050-3 model.
